All individuals elected to leadership positions in The Walk With Christ movement are first nominated by a pilgrim or the Nominations Committee of the Secretariat. The Nominations Committee is committed to using nominations, that meet required criteria, from the community first and will supplement, as needed, nominations from the Committee. This information is then presented to the Secretariat for their deliberation, prayers for guidance, and voting on the nominations.

Nominations and elections are held at least six months (longer, if possible) prior to the Walk being considered. Every nomination will be deliberated upon for up to two consecutive Secretariat nomination meetings and then must be re-nominated for further consideration. A nomination form is not maintained past the second Secretariat meeting at which it is considered.
